I tried this tonight with butternut squash (I am always looking for good winter squash recipes that are spicy/savory instead of sweet). I have a feeling mine was none too Ethiopian, though...I used crushed tomatoes instead of fresh, and homemade shortcut berbere...but it was delicious!!! Question: Do you think I could freeze the leftovers?

yum! the best part about your recipes is how they are adapted for our non-Ethiopian kitchens.

pretty funny on the 15 yr old, tell him we're looking forward to the book.....
