Her hair looks GREAT! And I'm thrilled to hear of your alternatives, because I haven't been able to find the two-minutes stuff around here at all. Thanks! (and please keep us posted)

Cute style! I'm glad you found a Suave replacement =).

I'm waiting on trying corn rows until my girly's hair gets a little longer and the fuzzy, baby hair edges all around her head somehow grow out. Because of those, her styles don't last long at all and have to be freshened every day, which is waayy too labor intensive.

Thank you for the product information. I am a foster parent & I want to be prepared to do hair for any child I get. My sister and I are both caucasian and where she learned to do hair while working in daycare and I have picked up stuff from her but I'm not as creative as she is. She learned to do hair mainly to see the look on the kids faces when they would look in the mirror and smile or tell her, "I'm pretty". So my point is.. would there be anyway of someone putting together a EASY step by step CD to help us learn to do hair. I really can't afford the $30-$50 books or tapes they have out now that really doesn't make it easy to learn. How many styles have you come up with? And does you daughter ever veto any? Thank you. BTW, I like the hair style.
