Hmm. I still can’t update my profile, but that might be because there’s a space in my user name. Anyway, if the adoptionblogs.com people ask, at least some of us are still having problems.

You are right, it IS harder to comment! But the possibility of a book made me do it. We just got back from Ethiopia a little more than a week ago, and it was an amazing trip. I just put up a bunch of pictures if anyone is interested!

Hi Mary, I have been reading your blog for almost a year now and I really enjoy your posts. I find your comments thoughtful and inspiring. (I’m not just saying that to get a free book!!) We just received our referral from AAI & are hoping to travel in March. About the new makeover – how do we access your posts by the month? Hi Mary,
I have been reading your blog for quite a while and I just signed up for an account last week so I could comment. I guess this is a good time to do so! Thanks for all the great info you have on here! We are getting ready to apply to AWAA.

Last week I had trouble getting on from my work computer; it kept asking me for a Windows password to even connect to the site. Maybe that’s when they were updating things.

No problems commenting. That’s surprising, since I am using a very
old computer, with Windows 98 and
an outdated version of Opera for
my web browser. I can’t get to ebay (sigh) or our county library system, but I can comment here.

You got me with the giveaway too! I’ve been a lurker for several months now (as a fellow bloger, isn’t it an odd feeling that people lurk on your page and sometimes it’s weeks or even months later when you actually learn about them? if you learn about them at all!?) But here I am, making myself known… twice in one week… I’m on a roll.

We finally got our application mailed in to AAI and we just got our training video in the mail yesterday! Thanks as always for the wonderful insight, support, laughs and tears.

I’ve commented before but haven’t recently. I’m reading daily but have just been swamped with busyness. Sorry for the lack of comments!

I would LOVE to win one of those books! You and I emailed 2 years ago when I first began praying for adoption for our family. You were such an encouragement to me. It has been a long, faith stretching (and building) two years, but I am encouraged by reading, reading, reading to prepare for when we can go forward.
